MIKROPAKK Ltd. as the data controller has prepared and makes available to the data subjects this privacy statement in accordance with the provisions of Articles 12 and 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR Regulation) and in compliance with the provisions of the preamble of the GDPR Regulation. The controller shall take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection and lawful processing of personal data and compliance with the requirements of the law, taking into account paragraph 78 of the Preamble to the GDPR Regulation and Article 24 thereof.

1. CONTACT US / REQUEST A QUOTE

Purpose of processing personal data

The data controller processes the personal data of the requesting party in connection with offers, specific product developments, inquiries regarding contract manufacturing, as well as complaint handling; and in connection with and to provide feedback on its activities.

Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, i.e. the data subject’s consent. By contacting the controller, or by requesting an offer from the controller or submitting a complaint to the controller, the data subject gives his or her consent to the processing of personal data that have been made available to him or her.

Categories of personal data concerned

In connection with the request for a quote and the lodging of a complaint or feedback, it is necessary to provide the name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number of the service user/requester or contact person and, if necessary, attach a file.

Recipients of personal data, categories of recipients, transfer of data

In the context of both requests for proposals and complaints and feedback, these personal data are processed by the designated staff of the controller. No transfer of data takes place.

Transfer of personal data to a third country

The controller does not transfer personal data to third countries.

Duration of storage of personal data

The Service Provider shall process the data provided until the withdrawal of the data subject’s consent, but no later than 30 (i.e. thirty) calendar days after the request is sent, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing prior to the withdrawal. In the event of the data subject’s consent withdrawal , all his/her data will be deleted. If the data subject subsequently accepts the controller’s offer, he or she will become a contractual partner of the controller and his or her data will be processed on a different legal basis, which will be specifically communicated to the data subject.

3. MANAGING CVS

Purpose of processing personal data

The Data Controller will review, store and process the CVs of job applicants and the personal data contained therein after they have been sent. The processing aims to assess the competencies and suitability of candidates for the position to be filled.

Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR Regulation, i.e. the data subject’s consent. By ticking the box next to the text “I accept the Privacy Notice and the Terms and Conditions” in the “Apply” section of the “Careers” menu, the data subject gives his or her unambiguous, explicit and prior consent to the processing of his or her data after having read the information. In the case of an e-mail request, by sending the CV to the controller, the data subject has given his or her explicit consent to the processing.

The categories of personal data concerned

Given the fact that the data content of the CVs of job applicants cannot be determined by the data controller, the personal data typically included in CVs are listed in this notice and the data protection register. These are typically: name, date and place of birth, address, telephone number, email address, name of schools attended and qualifications obtained, details of previous jobs (title, length of time held, position held), language skills, and other competencies.

Personal data are not transferred by the controller and may only be disclosed to the competent employees of the controller.

The controller does not transfer personal data to third countries.

Duration of storage of personal data

The controller shall destroy the CVs sent to it immediately after the position has been filled for unsuccessful applicants. The data controller shall inform the data subject of the data processing concerning the recruited employee separately when he/she logs in.

4. COOKIE PROCESSING

Purpose of processing personal data

To improve the quality of the services of the website operated by the data controller, to facilitate the use of the site (allowing the user to communicate and interact more easily with the website) and to adequately manage security and privacy risks, so-called “cookies” are used to protect the data controller’s website. “cookies”. The exact names and types of cookies used by the data controller are set out in Annex 1 to this notice.

What is a “cookie”?

When a visitor visits the website, a small data file called a cookie (hereinafter referred to as a “cookie”) is placed on his or her computer for several purposes. We only use cookies that are strictly necessary for the functioning of the site and to support session support, to identify individual user sessions and to facilitate a more convenient use of our website. Some of the cookies we use are temporary and disappear when you close your browser, while some are convenience cookies that are stored on your computer for up to a month so that if you visit our website regularly, your browser will remember your previous settings and you will not need to accept our cookie notice or regularly adjust your filtering preferences to suit your needs each time you visit.

They are valid for the duration of the visit and are automatically deleted at the end of the session or when the browser is closed.

2. Convenience cookies to support your use

These cookies allow our website to remember which mode of operation you have chosen (for example: accepting the cookie notice and the ordering of the results in the search results list). This is done so that you do not have to accept the cookie notice again and again on your next visit or to choose the ordering principle according to which you want to view the content displayed on the site. Without the information contained in the cookies that store your preferences, our website may function less smoothly.

We do not store any personal information in the preference cookies, we only store an identification number that informs the site that the cookie policy has been previously accepted. The convenience cookie is stored on the client’s computer browser and expires after 1 month.

The data controller intends to use cookies for administrative purposes, such as measuring the number of visitors to the website and to facilitate browsing, by remembering pages previously visited on the website. No cookie contains any personal data that would allow anyone to contact you by e-mail, telephone or traditional mail. Cookies are not in themselves capable of identifying the user, they are only capable of recognising the visitor’s computer. The legal basis for the processing is your freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of your wishes, by which you signify your consent to the processing of your personal data by means of a declaration or by an unambiguous act of affirmation. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on consent prior to its withdrawal. These personal data are processed by designated staff of the controller or by persons otherwise under a legal relationship with the controller and are not transferred by the controller.

The data controller uses the web analytics service Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View CA 94043, an EU-U.S. Privacy Shield partner. The web analytics services use cookies to help analyse the use of online interfaces. By providing specific and explicit consent to the use of the online interfaces, the data subject authorises Google Analytics to transfer the information generated by the cookies about the use of the online interface to Google servers in the United States of America. The other cookies processed are stored on servers within the European Union. By giving the specific consent provided on the website, the user consents to the collection and analysis of his/her data in the manner and for the purposes set out above. The above-mentioned service providers use this information to evaluate and analyse the use of online interfaces by the data subject, to compile reports on the activities carried out on online interfaces and to provide other services related to the activities carried out on those interfaces and to the use of the Internet. It is important to stress, however, that the cookies used on the website do not store personally identifiable information, i.e. personal data.

5. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

The data subject may request the rectification of his or her personal data under Article 16 of the GDPR (right to rectification), which the controller shall comply with without undue delay. The data subject also has the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data.

Under Article 17 of the GDPR Regulation, the data subject may request the erasure of personal data processed by the controller (right to erasure, “right to be forgotten”), which the controller shall comply with without undue delay where one of the following grounds applies:

  • the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and processed,
  • the data subject objects to the processing,
  • the personal data have been unlawfully processed,
  • the personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation under Union or national law to which the controller is subject.

The data subject may request the restriction of the processing of personal data based on Article 18 of the GDPR Regulation (right to restriction of processing). The controller is obliged to do so if.

  • the data subject contests the accuracy of the personal data, or
  • the processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the data, or
  • the controller no longer needs the personal data for processing purposes but the data subject requests them; or
  • the data subject has objected to the processing.

The data subject has the right to exercise his or her right to data portability under Article 20 of the GDPR Regulation, i.e. the right to obtain from the controller personal data relating to him or her in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. He or she also has the right to have those data transmitted to another controller, as defined in the GDPR Regulation.

The data subject does not have the right to object in relation to this processing, given that the processing is not based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the GDPR Regulation.
